Bargain shopping for travel insurance
My passion is shopping and I do like to travel, so wherever I go I head of for the shopping centre, tourist areas and buy a few things, even if I have a little trouble getting it all in my luggage for the return home. I do try and travel when I can, it is a bit difficult with my business commitments, but I manage to force myself to plan and just allocate some time to myself and I find that my customers are very understanding about this. Each year I go overseas and usually go to Europe where I have good friends. We travel together and they look forward to my visits and plan their getaway at the same time.
I have been very lucky on my trips, so far not too many unfortunate events have occurred, as I am very fit and healthy, I would regard it is unusual for me to become sick. I can eat most foods and even though I am careful I still just take care in choosing what I buy and eat in restaurants, particularly in those far away places. One of my European friends is not so robust and last year she became ill when we were traveling in Turkey. I though what a place to be sick, where do you go for help and what would happen to me if I was this sick. My friend did get assistance from her travel insurance company and with the attendance of a doctor at our hotel she was alright to continue with our trip in a few days. Luckily we had hired a car and it did not matter that we stayed a day longer that we had planned.
