We All Love Our Annual Vacation
We all love our annual vacation but there are those that never go too far from home and then you find the adventurous types that will travel the world. Gone are the days when travel agents were popular and sought after as websites have popped up everywhere and promise all of their customer’s extraordinary savings.
Although I am not one to put my complete trust in these sites and still like to visit my travel agent. While this may be the way to book your holiday now, I still enjoy sitting front of a real person and not a computer screen. For peace of mind I like to use my travel agent and I don’t mind if it takes much longer to book the vacation or if the cost is higher because I know I can always speak to them about anything that isn’t right. There are always huge savings to be had by waiting until the last possible moment to book but you have to be flexible with your travel arrangements to do this.
I wish I could do this but my work just wouldn’t allow me to suddenly take time of as they normally need a couple of months notice. I don’t doubt for one minute that by using a travel site can be less expensive as you can also get discounts on tours and car hire by booking this way. Knowing a little about what you want and information about the location you want to travel too can be useful so I still research as much of this as I can online before I pay my travel agent a visit. I know it may seem unkind after all the help that my travel agent has given me but I know that if I have problems that need correcting when I return, it is easy to go along and see her to have sorted out.
