Living a Dream in Costa Rica
When I was younger I used to dream of becoming a pilot not much of my love for planes but so that I could travel and see and world. Unfortunately that didn’t materialized as I was diagnosed with short sightedness at the age of 12 which simply ruled me out of a career in aviation. However I managed to fulfil my 2nd dream which is to travel around the world. I worked as a technical consultant for a train system company which takes me to different parts of the world to help the different countries setup their own metropolitan train system. It’s great way of seeing the world for free. Anyway during one of my trips to Central America, I detoured to Costa Rica after hearing so much about it from my sister and her husband. They went for their Costa Rica honeymoon about a year ago and they had so much fun that they couldn’t stopped talking about it for a month. Anyway I landed in San Jose so decided to take a city tour which also included the nearby towns like Heredia and Escazu. My next stop was definitely the beaches as that is what Costa Rica is famous for. Initially I couldn’t decide on which part of the country that I should go since I only had about 3 days left. Finally I was attracted to the Nicoya Peninsula as it wasn’t as commercialized as the other areas. So off I went to Montezuma Costa Rica which I had to take a flight to Tambor first and then took a hotel shuttle to Montezuma. I booked myself into the famous Ylang Ylang resort which was nice and close to the beach plus the services were first class. I was there during the weekend so I experienced the party scene over there at Chico’s bar which was the most happening bar in Montezuma Costa Rica. I met some hot women there and we partied through out the night and ended up sleeping on the beach which was a great experience. I also managed to visit the nearby Cabo Blanco nature reserves which was filled with awesome flora and faunas as well as unique mammals and birds.
